My Approach to Sports Rehabilitation
Assessment & Injury Management
I take the time to understand your symptoms, injury history, training demands and goals. Through a detailed assessment, I aim to identify the nature of your injury and factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.
Keeping You Active
Injury management doesn't always mean complete rest. Where appropriate, I'll work with you to modify your existing training program, manage symptoms and maintain strength and fitness throughout your recovery.
Strength & Rehabilitation
My approach combines evidence-informed physiotherapy treatment with progressive exercise rehabilitation, strength and conditioning and sport-specific movement. The aim is not only to address your current symptoms, but also to build your capacity to manage the demands of your chosen activity.
Return to Sport
Returning to sport involves more than being pain-free. I'll help you progressively rebuild strength, confidence and sport-specific capacity, using individualised goals and relevant performance measures to guide your return.
Experience Across a Range of Sports
With over eight years of physiotherapy experience and a background in strength and conditioning, I've worked with athletes across football, netball, basketball, soccer, athletics, cricket, running, dance and gymnastics.
My experience extends from community sport through to high-performance sporting environments, including the NAB League, NPL, WNBL, Victorian Institute of Sport and Netball Victoria.
As a marathon runner, HYROX athlete and gymnastics coach myself, I understand the importance of maintaining training consistency and having a clear pathway back to sport following injury.
Whether you're preparing for your next competition, returning to weekend sport or simply wanting to train without recurring pain, my focus is on helping you move well, build confidence and achieve your goals.
